FeedNames - Name Cloud
November 6th, 2007 | Filed in Feeds |
Freshly launched FeedNames takes in an RSS feed and generates a cloud of links to the various items.
Clicking on the icon in front of each name, brings up a list of articles from the blogosphere which have a reference to the item. Unfortunately nobody really links to us. I sit here all alone.

Sitting there all alone really sucks especially when you’ve got some decent content. I have to admit that I have your website in my ‘infrequent visits’ folder.
My 2 cents as a retired webmaster. Change the color scheme; black and gray is depressing! How about trying a white or other light background? With a black or dark text color your content will pop out.
Maybe stretch the concept of widgets to incorporate things like reviews of some of the FireFox or Thunderbird addons, or something similar since a webpage can only use so many widgets before collapsing under its own weight.
My 2 cents fwiw.

It’s a little bad on contrast grey on grey/black, blue on dark grey is nice, but should be lighter.

Hello,
I am the developer of www.MakeCloud.com, a tag cloud generator very similar to FeedNames (although MakeCloud came first…). So if you like FeedNames, check out MakeCloud.com.
