Spring Widgets – widget engine

Suck any RSS feed into this Flash based reader widget-y widget. Works well, looks good, easy to configure... but...why?

Thanks for the mention! We love the blog and funny enough, the best way to tell you the answer to “why?” is to say that I receive my updates to this blog through this RSS reader ;-)

This is really an OPML, Video, Podcast *and* RSS reader widget.

We built the widget to allow for those people who publish blogs, like this one, who wanted to concurrently publish that content into MySpace easily. But it’s so much more than that.

Want to see the video feature? Try building one with the Google top 100 videos feed and see what happens.

    All my best,

Don (from SpringWidgets – I might be biased ;-)

At MuseStorm we have had a free RSS feed widget since June 2006 (our free widgets have been mentioned here before).
What we’ve learned since is that many users pull RSS feeds via widgets to their own blogs and websites as a way to complement their own content and make their site more appealing to their users.

BTW, we’ve just launched a professional widget syndication service for publishers and bloggers, to make it easy for them to offer their content as widgets.
