Amazon launched a six new widgets today adding to the ways you can promote Amazon products and I guess earn commissions. The "Unboxed Videos" widget looks pretty cool.

A new widget from GAS-COST.NET provides a summary of the average nationwide price of gas in real time.

Especially empowering widget for all those ~~whiners~~ in America commenting ~~bitching~~ about the price of gas right now.

What GAS-COST.NET needs to do is provide an API, then someone can build a tool to monitor and push out Twitter updates to all of us when the price changes.

It would actually be cool to see the geo location of the highest and lowest prices. Not sure if that kind of data is available though. Just a thought.
